Originally from the Southern California area, she and her husband moved to San Diego right after they were married in 2010. She has two kids, a girl (11) and a boy (8) who keep her busy with all their different sports and activities! She and her family are huge San Diego Padres fans and enjoy going to as many games a season as possible. She also enjoys hanging with friends, going to concerts, going to the beach, walking her dogs, trying new restaurants out, and of course getting tucked up at Studio Barre! She’s been a loyal SB client since 2017 and turned that passion into a career in 2019 when she started working for the creator and founder of Studio Barre, Shannon Higgins, at the corporate headquarters.

Meet Kaylie! Long time client, forever Studio Barre lover 🫶 Kaylie has been tucking with Studio Barre for over 13 years now {yup, thirteen YEARS} and everyday has grown a deeper passion to creating the community, culture and confidence within the Carlsbad area. Mama of two, proud wife to her husband Ben {yeah he tucks too}, and practicing Occupational Therapist for the past 21 years, Kaylie decided to take her love for Studio Barre to the next level. Being a college athlete, she thrived on the group fitnesses atmosphere because it can be similar to team sport feeling. Studio Barre filled that {and more} with the challenging workout and team-like atmosphere.

“When we found out there was an opportunity to open a studio we decided to jump on it. Becoming a Studio Barre Instructor and soon to be Owner has allowed me to incorporate my knowledge of the body and my love for the workout and now share this with others so they can feel strong and confident while having a great time in a supportive community” – Kaylie

I love the atmosphere and friendships formed at Studio Barre. I have gone to classes in Mission Hills, Bird Rock, Encinitas and am now excited to be working at Studio Barre Carlsbad. Barre is a great workout for me, especially because it is adaptable to all skills and limitations.
I grew up in Carlsbad and am loving being back in North County, especially because I am so close to the beach. My new puppy Chip is definitely benefiting from the location with daily walks along the beach. I love working remotely in corporate event planning, but am excited to get out twice a week, to make new friends and interact with more people than just my dog and cat.

With a background in Cheerleading and gymnastics, Summer fell in love with fitness. She’s lived in San Diego her whole life moving around from town to town. She graduated from Classical academy high school in 2022 and is just starting college. If summers not studying, or at studio barre you can find her at the beach or hanging out with her dogs.

Court has been a fan favorite Barre{tender} and our signature Southern Belle since 2016. She will steal your heart allllllllllll class long with her charm, sass for days, and killer choreography combinations. The shake is real and so is her spirit. She’s the hostess with the most-ess and is bringing her pro party planning background to future events {tuck yeah 🥂}

In class, expect all the southern-isms with a side of sass & there will always be rap to go with it {her dance moves are a bonus!}. You bring your cup & she will fill it up.

Born and raised in Carlsbad and Oceanside, CA….She hasn’t found a better place to live. She is a mom {to Charley & Penny}, wife {to Bryon}, daughter, sister, and friend. After leaving her lengthy Merchandising career to raise her 2nd daughter in 2018, Mary focussed her attention on health and wellness. Having a passion for fitness, merchandising, and fun brought her to Studio Barre Carlsbad!

She brings flawless experience with her into each class, along with a bit of sass, and an energy so intoxicating, you’ll be booking your next class with her even before your current one is over.

When she’s not tucking up clients in the studio, she’s also Studio Barre’s Master of Community, Culture, and Confidence. ✨ She helps instill that “it factor” in every trainee, ensuring that the magic that is uniquely Studio Barre continues to spread throughout every new franchise.

Yuka is an artist from Tokyo, Japan. Since she was little, she has always loved art, moving her body, and dancing. At 18, Yuka started teaching in the fitness industry and is attracted by how fitness can uplift your mental and physical health all while making her clients feel great!

In 2022, Yuka moved to California to follow her dream; being an artist with the fullest creative expression through herself! She was also seeking for a strong woman community which she feel like a home. After taking Studio Barre class and meeting instructors, she immediately fell in love with the Studio Barre community itself {tuck yeah!} She loves dancing {especially flamenco} and ballroom and found that Studio Barre gives her the same feeling of being in a dance studio.

She feels that we can all grow strong together at the Studio Barre! Get ready to feel her contagious energy babes, Yuka has alllllllllll the sweetness you need for her SPICY classes!

Fitness has always played an important role in Jordan’s life. She equates it as a way to achieve personal goals (she’s ran a few marathons and loves Studio Barre challenges), to feeling great, and being part of a special community that builds strong, healthy bodies, and friendships. Jordan grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she ran on her school’s cross country running and track team. She is always up for an adventure, so she joined the United States Air Force for nine years, living abroad and traveling. Then, after a brief stint as a flight attendant, she met her pilot husband, and they currently reside in Cardiff with their two children.
Ever since Jordan was introduced to the Studio Barre family in the summer of 2021, she has made attending class a top priority. “Class helps me to become a better me, wife, and mother.”
